ACA president Magomed Bibulatov gave a candid assessment of drug testing in the promotion, stating that more fighters use performance-enhancing drugs than compete clean. He revealed that fighters taking bouts on short notice are typically clean because they haven't had time to use substances. Bibulatov explained that drug testing is expensive and suggested Russian promotions should unite to address the issue, though he doubts this will happen. The promotion has been testing fighters and maintaining records on usage, and Bibulatov previously considered one-year suspensions for violators. He acknowledged that ACA alone cannot solve the problem due to the financial burden of comprehensive testing and the need for cross-promotional cooperation.
