ACA President Magomed Bibulatov made candid admissions about doping in the promotion during an interview. He stated that more fighters use banned substances than compete clean, and that short-notice replacements are typically the cleanest athletes because they don't have time to use performance enhancers. Bibulatov revealed that ACA gave fighters six months to clear their systems and implemented testing, but the results showed widespread substance use. He acknowledged that implementing comprehensive drug testing is expensive and suggested Russian promotions should unite on the issue, though he doubts this will happen. The league is still deciding how to handle fighters who test positive, with one-year suspensions being considered.
