ACA President Magomed Bibulatov made candid admissions about performance-enhancing drug use in his organization during an interview. He stated that more fighters use PEDs than compete clean, and that short-notice replacements are typically the cleanest athletes because they don't have time to prepare chemically. Bibulatov acknowledged that implementing comprehensive drug testing is expensive and suggested Russian promotions should unite to share costs, though he considers this unlikely. The league has been testing fighters and maintaining records of violations but hasn't yet decided on a definitive punishment policy. He mentioned considering one-year suspensions for violators and allowing certain recovery supplements while prohibiting banned substances.
