Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo in the first round at an LFA event. The 26-year-old from North Ossetia, who has lived in the United States for four years, has now won all six of his LFA fights over three years. His previous four LFA victories came by decision, with his debut in the promotion being his other knockout win. After the fight, Kulshin grabbed the microphone and called out the UFC, saying he was ready to take a fight on short notice. He trains at Kill Cliff gym.
