Nikita Kulshin scores first-round KO of Junior Melo at LFA 231

Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 with a first-round knockout victory over Junior Melo at an LFA event. The 26-year-old from North Ossetia, who has been living in the United States for four years, extended his LFA record to 6-0 over three years. After winning four consecutive fights by decision in LFA, this knockout marked his second finish in the promotion. Following the victory, Kulshin called out the UFC in his post-fight interview, stating he is ready to step in on short notice. He trains at Kill Cliff gym.
