Kulshin knocks out Melo in first round at LFA, calls out UFC

Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 with a first-round knockout victory over Junior Melo at an LFA event. The 26-year-old lightweight, who has lived in the United States for four years, has now won all six of his LFA bouts over three years. After scoring four consecutive decision victories, Kulshin returned to his finishing ways with the knockout. In his post-fight interview, he grabbed the microphone and called out the UFC, stating he is ready to step in on short notice at any time. Originally from North Ossetia, Kulshin trains at Kill Cliff gym.
