Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo early in the first round at an LFA event. The 26-year-old from North Ossetia has been living in the United States for four years and this was his sixth fight in LFA over three years, all victories. His previous four LFA fights were decision wins, with his LFA debut also ending in a knockout. Kulshin trains at Kill Cliff gym and called out the UFC in his post-fight interview, shouting into the microphone that he's ready to fight on short notice at any time.
