Josh Hokit has publicly shared a private message exchange with Paulo Costa in which the Brazilian demanded $100,000. Costa wrote that Hokit should return his money and stated he is eating lots of pizza to bulk up and fight him. Hokit responded with a crude joke about pizza. In his caption, Hokit referred to Costa as a "stupid Brazilian," escalating the tension between the two fighters.
