The 26-year-old from North Ossetia has been living in the United States for four years and trains at Kill Cliff gym. This marked his sixth consecutive victory in LFA over three years, following four straight decision wins and his debut knockout in the promotion. After the fight, Kulshin called out the UFC in his post-fight interview, stating he is ready to take a fight on short notice. Melo falls to 15-10-1 with the loss.
