ACA president admits more fighters use PEDs than clean athletes in league

ACA president Magomed Bubulatov made candid admissions about doping in the league during an interview with Ushatayka. He stated that more fighters use banned substances than compete clean, and that fighters accepting bouts on short notice are usually clean because they haven't had time to use anything. Bubulatov revealed the league gave fighters six months to clear their systems and allowed certain approved supplements when testing began. He mentioned having data on all fighters regarding their substance use levels, with replacement fighters typically being the cleanest. The president is considering one-year suspensions for violators but acknowledged that comprehensive testing is expensive and would require cooperation among all Russian promotions, which he believes is unlikely. The league has someone responsible for testing oversight and may soon have their medical department representative speak publicly about the issue.
