Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo in the first round at an LFA event. The 26-year-old from North Ossetia, who has been living in the United States for four years, has now won all six of his LFA bouts over three years. After winning four straight decisions, Kulshin has now scored knockouts in his last two fights. Following the victory, he took the microphone and called out the UFC, stating he is ready to fight on short notice at any time. Kulshin trains at Kill Cliff gym.
