Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved his undefeated record to 9-0 with a first-round knockout victory over Junior Melo at LFA 231. The 26-year-old fighter from North Ossetia, who has been living in the United States for four years, now has six consecutive wins in LFA over three years. After the fight, Kulshin grabbed the microphone and called out the UFC, stating he is ready to step in on short notice at any time. He trains at Kill Cliff gym and had previously won four straight LFA fights by decision before this knockout.
