Nikita Kulshin knocks out Junior Melo in LFA debut call-out to UFC

Lightweight Nikita Kulshin (9-0) knocked out Junior Melo (15-9-1) early in the first round at an LFA event. The 26-year-old North Ossetian fighter, who has lived in the United States for four years, improved to 6-0 in LFA over three years with his sixth promotional victory. After winning his previous four LFA fights by decision, this marked his second knockout finish in the organization. Following the victory, Kulshin took the microphone and called out the UFC, declaring he's ready to step in on short notice at any time. Kulshin trains at Kill Cliff gym and continues to build his case for a UFC contract.
