Nikita Kulshin scores first-round KO at LFA, calls out UFC for opportunity

Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo (15-9-1) early in the first round at an LFA event. The 26-year-old from North Ossetia, who has lived in the United States for four years, has now won all six of his LFA fights over three years. After four consecutive decision victories, this knockout marked his second finish in the promotion. Following the win, Kulshin grabbed the microphone and called out the UFC, stating he is ready to fight on short notice at any time. He trains at Kill Cliff gym.
