Nikita Kulshin knocks out Junior Melo in first round at LFA

Russian lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo (15-9-1) early in the first round at an LFA event. Kulshin has been living in the United States for four years and this marked his sixth consecutive victory in LFA over three years. After four straight decision wins, this was his second knockout in the promotion. In his post-fight interview, the 26-year-old from North Ossetia called out the UFC, stating he is ready to step in on short notice at any time. Kulshin trains at Kill Cliff FC and appears to be making a strong case for UFC recruitment with his undefeated record.
