Nikita Kulshin knocks out Junior Melo in first round at LFA

Nikita Kulshin improved his undefeated record to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo early in the first round at an LFA event. This marked Kulshin's sixth consecutive victory in the LFA promotion over three years, and only his second knockout finish with LFA after four straight decision wins. The 26-year-old lightweight from North Ossetia has been living and training in the United States for four years at Kill Cliff gym. Following the victory, Kulshin called out the UFC during his post-fight interview, stating he is ready to compete on short notice. His six-fight LFA winning streak and current form suggest he may be positioning himself for a UFC contract.
