Nikita Kulshin knocks out Junior Melo in LFA, calls out UFC

Lightweight Nikita Kulshin (9-0) knocked out Junior Melo (15-9-1) early in the first round at an LFA event. Kulshin has been living in the United States for four years and this was his sixth fight in LFA over three years, marking his sixth consecutive victory. After winning his first LFA bout by knockout, he had won four straight by decision before this finish. In his post-fight interview, Kulshin called out the UFC, saying he is ready to step in on short notice at any time. The 26-year-old fighter is originally from North Ossetia and trains at Kill Cliff gym.
