Mike Malott and Marcio Barbosa each received $100,000 Performance of the Night bonuses at UFC Winnipeg. Kyler Phillips and Charles Jourdain earned the Fight of the Night bonus, also worth $100,000 total. Additionally, all fighters who won by finish but did not receive a primary bonus, and who made weight successfully, will receive $25,000 each. This bonus structure rewards exciting performances and finishes throughout the card. The bonuses represent significant additional compensation beyond the fighters' contracted purses.
Four fighters walked away from UFC Winnipeg with bonus checks on April 19, as the promotion handed out $100,000 Performance of the Night awards to Mike Malott and Marcio Barbosa, while Kyler Phillips and Charles Jourdain split the $100,000 Fight of the Night bonus for their contest. Every fighter who earned a finish, made weight successfully, and did not receive one of the primary bonuses was also awarded $25,000.

Mike Malott, the 34-year-old Canadian welterweight fighting out of Team Alpha Male, earned his Performance of the Night nod with a finish that underscored why he has become a crowd favorite in his home country. Standing six-foot-one with a 73-inch reach, Malott carries a 14-2-1 record and connects on nearly 48 percent of his significant strikes, also mixing in close to two takedowns per 15 minutes and a steady submission threat.

Marcio Barbosa, the 28-year-old Brazilian known as "Ticoto," claimed the other Performance bonus and continues to look like one of the more dangerous finishers in his division. Competing out of Equipe RD Champions, Barbosa holds an 18-2-0 record and lands a remarkable 8.27 significant strikes per minute at 47 percent accuracy, making him one of the higher-volume strikers on the roster.

Kyler Phillips and Charles Jourdain were recognized for putting on the most entertaining bout of the evening. Phillips, the 31-year-old American from MMA Lab known as "The Matrix," carries a 12-5-0 record and generates 5.04 significant strikes per minute while also averaging 2.31 takedowns per 15 minutes, giving him a genuinely two-dimensional offensive game.

Why it matters
- Malott's bonus in Canada adds to his momentum as one of the welterweight division's most exciting domestic talents
- Barbosa's finish reinforces his status as a high-volume striker with genuine finishing power at 18-2-0
- The Fight of the Night recognition for Phillips and Jourdain highlights a bantamweight division that consistently delivers competitive, action-heavy matchups
- The additional $25,000 finish bonuses distributed across the card reflect the promotion's broader effort to reward exciting performances beyond the top-line awards
