The UFC announced $100,000 performance bonuses from UFC Winnipeg. Mike Malott and Marcio Barbosa each received Performance of the Night bonuses. Kyler Phillips vs. Charles Jourdain earned Fight of the Night honors. Additionally, all fighters who secured finishes but did not receive a primary bonus and did not miss weight were awarded $25,000 each. This bonus structure rewards both spectacular individual performances and exciting back-and-forth contests from the Canadian card.
The UFC has revealed the performance bonus recipients from UFC Winnipeg, with Mike Malott and Marcio Barbosa each walking away with $100,000 Performance of the Night awards, while Kyler Phillips and Charles Jourdain split Fight of the Night honors. The promotion also handed out $25,000 bonuses to any fighter who secured a finish, did not receive a primary bonus, and came in on weight.

Mike Malott, the 34-year-old Canadian welterweight fighting out of Team Alpha Male, earned his bonus in front of what was largely a home crowd. Malott carries a record of 14-2-1 and brings a well-rounded skill set, connecting on nearly half his significant strikes at 48 percent accuracy while also averaging close to two takedowns per 15 minutes and 0.8 submission attempts in the same span.

Marcio Barbosa, nicknamed "Ticoto," backed up his billing as one of the more explosive strikers in his division. The 28-year-old Brazilian carries an 18-2-0 record and lands an eye-catching 8.27 significant strikes per minute at 47 percent accuracy. Standing five-foot-six with a 70-inch reach, Barbosa fights out of Equipe RD Champions and brought that high-output pressure game to Winnipeg.

The Fight of the Night pairing featured Kyler Phillips and Charles Jourdain. Phillips, the 31-year-old American known as "The Matrix," holds a 12-5-0 record and fights out of MMA Lab. Standing five-foot-eight with a 72-inch reach, he averages 5.04 significant strikes per minute and supplements his striking with 2.31 takedowns per 15 minutes.

Why it matters
- Malott's bonus reinforces his standing as one of Canada's most popular welterweights and a consistent finisher on the roster.
- Barbosa's Performance of the Night award highlights his emergence as a high-volume striking threat at 18-2-0.
- The additional $25,000 finish bonuses signal the UFC's continued effort to incentivize aggressive, entertaining bouts across the full card.
