Gilbert Burns stated he did not plan to retire after his recent fight, but he is prepared for that possibility. He explained that if he cannot show his full potential again, he is ready to walk away because he does not want to simply fight for a paycheck. Burns shared his future plans, including becoming an MMA manager and opening a gym in South Florida with his close friend Wagner Rocha. He emphasized his desire to help change the lives of young people through jiu-jitsu, not just teach them martial arts. Burns thanked fans for supporting his career.
