Mark Vologdin spoke about his emotions and strategy during his UFC debut fight. In an interview, he was questioned about keeping his hands very low in the third round, which led to him absorbing many strikes despite his corner's warnings. Vologdin acknowledged he was fighting on instinct and believed his opponent wouldn't knock him down even with his hands lowered. He admitted this was foolish but stated he chose this path himself and doesn't care about criticism regarding his technique or health. Vologdin emphasized that regardless of what people say about the level of competition, he simply enjoyed the experience and felt great satisfaction from the fight.
