Iwo Baranievski has commented on the UFC's offer for him to replace Jan Blachowicz as a short-notice opponent. The Polish fighter acknowledged there are both pros and cons to accepting the opportunity but called it a huge chance. He expressed appreciation that the UFC thought of him for the replacement spot. Baranievski noted this would be a tough and significant fight, especially for only his third UFC appearance. Active discussions are currently ongoing between his manager and UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard. He revealed that proposals have been exchanged from both sides, and his coaches are also heavily involved in the decision-making process. Baranievski already has a fight scheduled for June 6 against Billy Elekana.
