Quick read
Polish light heavyweight Iwo Baraniewski has revealed he is considering an offer from the UFC to step in as a replacement for Jan Blachowicz. Baraniewski stated there are both advantages and disadvantages to accepting the fight, calling it a "huge opportunity" and expressing appreciation that the UFC thought of him. He acknowledged it would be a tough fight and particularly significant for only his third UFC appearance. Discussions are currently ongoing between his manager and UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard, with proposals being exchanged from both sides. Baraniewski already has a fight scheduled for June 6 against Billy Elekana, complicating the decision about taking the replacement bout.
