Bogdan Guskov has expressed interest in fighting Paulo Costa, while Ivo Baranievski claims he agreed to face Guskov but the Russian declined. Baranievski stated he was ready to compete at any time as a Russian guy who grew up in Uzbekistan, vowing to make Guskov swallow his words. Gor Azizyan criticized Guskov for talking too much after victories over Kopylov and Azamat, suggesting Guskov needs to be brought down a notch. Azizyan added that if Guskov refuses the fight with Bogdan, he should stop discussing Russian-themed callouts entirely.
