Dagestan resident fined for ethnic hatred comments in UFC Telegram chat

A 21-year-old man from Dagestan has been fined 10,000 rubles for inciting ethnic hatred in a UFC Telegram chat. The Kizlyar District Court heard the case of Magomed S., who was charged under Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code. Officers from Center E discovered the violation in comments Magomed made three years ago in the UFC Eurasia Telegram chat, where he made disparaging remarks about Russians during an argument with other users. He apologized approximately 90 minutes after posting the comments. In court, Magomed admitted guilt and expressed remorse for his actions.
