The UFC has officially announced two fights for UFC Vegas 118, scheduled for June 6. Bryce Mitchell (9-3 UFC) will face Victor Henry (4-2 UFC) in a bantamweight contest. In the flyweight division, Imanol Rodriguez (1-0 UFC) will meet Matt Schnell (7-8 UFC). Mitchell brings a winning UFC record but faces Henry, who has shown competitiveness in his UFC run. Rodriguez will look to build on his UFC debut victory against the experienced Schnell, who has had a challenging tenure in the promotion.
The UFC has made two matchups official for UFC Vegas 118, set to take place on June 6, with bantamweight and flyweight bouts both confirmed for the card.

Bryce "Thug Nasty" Mitchell returns to action against Victor "La Mangosta" Henry in the bantamweight division. Mitchell, 31, carries an 18-4 overall record and brings a grappling-heavy style to the Octagon, averaging 3.24 takedowns per 15 minutes while posting a striking accuracy of 59 percent — among the higher marks in the division. The Arkansas native trains out of Barata MMA and competes as a southpaw with a 70-inch reach. Henry, 39, enters with a 25-7 overall record and has shown a high-volume striking approach throughout his career, landing 7.17 significant strikes per minute at 53 percent accuracy. The switch-stance fighter out of UWF USA will look to use that output to keep Mitchell at distance.

In the flyweight division, Imanol Rodriguez will face Matt "Danger" Schnell. Rodriguez enters looking to extend his unbeaten start in the UFC after going 1-0 since joining the promotion. Schnell, 36, brings considerably more Octagon experience with a 17-10 overall record and a submission threat averaging 1.2 submission attempts per 15 minutes. The 173-centimeter orthodox fighter from Fortis MMA also lands at a rate of 4.07 significant strikes per minute, giving him tools to threaten on the feet as well.

Why it matters
- Mitchell vs. Henry tests a top grappler against one of the more active strikers in the bantamweight pool
- A win for Mitchell keeps him in the conversation among the division's contenders; a loss would deepen concerns after recent setbacks
- Rodriguez faces his first experienced UFC opponent in Schnell, making it a meaningful step-up test for the debuting contender
- Schnell's submission game against Rodriguez's developing UFC profile adds a layered grappling dynamic to the flyweight matchup
