The UFC has removed Colby Covington from the welterweight rankings due to lack of activity. Covington's last fight was against Ian Machado Garry in 2024, which he lost by stoppage. Since that defeat, Covington has not competed inside the octagon and has instead been focused on his ongoing lawsuit against Jorge Masvidal and appearances in the Russian promotion RAF. The removal from the rankings is standard UFC policy for fighters who remain inactive for extended periods. Covington's absence from competition has now officially cost him his spot in the official welterweight standings.
