Nemkov reveals kidney problems caused stamina issues in first Corey Anderson fight

Vadim Nemkov disclosed that kidney problems in 2022 severely impacted his stamina during his first fight with Corey Anderson, where he won the first round but gassed out in the second. He also struggled in sparring sessions, lasting only one round before exhaustion set in. After extensive medical consultations and tests in Thailand, doctors identified the kidney issue and prescribed a permitted medication that restored his conditioning. Nemkov has since eliminated all sports supplements from his diet due to the strain they place on his kidneys, now relying only on vitamins. He stated that removing supplements has not negatively affected his performance, emphasizing proper nutrition and sleep instead.
