Vadim Nemkov believes Alexander Ovechkin more recognizable than Khabib in America

Former Bellator champion Vadim Nemkov stated in an interview that NHL star Alexander Ovechkin is currently more recognizable in America than retired UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nemkov explained that hockey is widely played from childhood in the United States, with young players knowing Ovechkin, especially after he broke Wayne Gretzky's record. He noted that Ovechkin remains constantly in the news and at the top of his sport, while Khabib is no longer as prominent in media coverage since his retirement. Nemkov believes both are recognized in America, but gives the edge to Ovechkin in terms of current recognition.
