Nemkov believes Ovechkin more recognizable in America than Khabib Nurmagomedov

Bellator fighter Vadim Nemkov stated in an interview that Alexander Ovechkin is currently more recognizable in America than Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nemkov explained that hockey is played widely by American children from a young age, and all young hockey players know who Ovechkin is due to his record-breaking career. He noted that Ovechkin recently broke Wayne Gretzky's record, continues setting records, and remains constantly in the news. In contrast, Nemkov believes Khabib is less well-known now because he is no longer active and does not appear in news cycles as frequently. Nemkov suggested both would be recognized, but gave the edge to Ovechkin due to hockey's youth participation rates in America.
