Vadim Nemkov stated in an interview that Alexander Ovechkin is currently more recognizable in America than Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nemkov explained that hockey is widely played from childhood in America, with all young hockey players knowing Ovechkin, similar to Russia where many boys play the sport. He emphasized that Ovechkin gained massive recognition after breaking Wayne Gretzky's record and continues setting new records while remaining in the spotlight. In contrast, Nemkov believes Khabib is less well-known now, no longer making headlines as frequently and not maintaining the same level of prominence in the news cycle since his retirement.
