Vadim Nemkov believes Alexander Ovechkin more recognizable in America than Khabib

Bellator fighter Vadim Nemkov stated his opinion that NHL star Alexander Ovechkin is currently more recognizable in America than retired UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nemkov explained that hockey is extremely popular among American youth, with many children playing the sport from an early age and knowing who Ovechkin is. He noted that Ovechkin recently broke Wayne Gretzky's record and continues to set new records while remaining in the spotlight. In contrast, Nemkov suggested that Khabib is no longer as well-known since he doesn't generate as much news coverage following his retirement from competition.
