Vadim Nemkov: Ovechkin more recognizable than Khabib in America currently

Vadim Nemkov believes that Alexander Ovechkin is currently more recognizable in America than Khabib Nurmagomedov. In an interview, Nemkov explained that many American children play hockey from an early age and all know who Ovechkin is, similar to Russia. He noted that Ovechkin gained massive recognition when he broke Wayne Gretzky's record and continues to set records while remaining in the spotlight. In contrast, Nemkov stated that Khabib is no longer as well-known, no longer making headlines as frequently, and is not in the news as much anymore.
