Sergey Gorokhov and his team were attacked by a crowd in the ring in Turkey after he knocked out local boxer Emirhan Kalkan in the second round. The incident began when Gorokhov celebrated enthusiastically after his victory, leading to a confrontation with a man in civilian clothes connected to Kalkan. After a member of Gorokhov's team pushed this man, a crowd rushed into the ring and assaulted Gorokhov and his team. Two of Gorokhov's cornermen, including Ismail, were taken to the hospital. Following treatment, the three immediately left Trabzon by car for Georgia, removing their Russian license plates as a precaution. They safely reached Georgia.
