Story recalls Khabib Nurmagomedov's welcoming attitude after UFC 223 title win

Azamat Bostanov, now a fighter manager, shared memories from Khabib Nurmagomedov's UFC 223 championship victory in Brooklyn eight years ago. Bostanov recalled that Ali Abdelaziz initially forbade him from approaching their team, but Khabib intervened, saying "This is our guy, he's just doing his job." After the victory over Al Iaquinta, Khabib's hotel floor was packed with people, yet he still came out to take photos and thanked everyone for their support despite being exhausted. Bostanov noted that Khabib's hotel room was filled with people, many of whom he didn't know, but he gave everyone attention and spoke with each person. Even years later, Bostanov remembered Khabib remaining approachable and friendly, once offering him a ride when they crossed paths in Moscow.
