According to Ariel Helwani, the UFC's current plan includes Conor McGregor versus Max Holloway as the main event of UFC 329 on July 11. Additionally, Islam Makhachev is scheduled to defend his lightweight title against Ian Garry in the main event of UFC 330 on August 15. The McGregor-Holloway bout would be a rematch of their 2013 encounter, while Makhachev-Garry represents an unexpected pairing with the welterweight contender moving down in weight. Both cards appear to be major tentpole events for the UFC's summer schedule. Official confirmation from the promotion is still pending.
