The promotion also plans to have Islam Makhachev defend his lightweight title against Ian Garry in the main event of UFC 330 on August 15. These matchups represent significant bookings for the summer schedule, with McGregor returning to face a former opponent and the lightweight champion taking on an undefeated welterweight contender. Neither fight has been officially confirmed by the UFC yet.
