Middleweight contender Caio Borralho flew to South Africa in an attempt to find UFC champion Dricus Du Plessis, claiming the champion has been ignoring his callouts and challenge attempts. Du Plessis responded immediately on social media, inviting the Brazilian to his gym for a sparring session. The champion wrote, "Come to my gym, we'll spar and if you want, we'll film everything. See you Friday, nerd." Borralho responded by telling Du Plessis to stop acting like a child and simply sign a fight contract. Du Plessis fired back questioning whether Borralho's name is even being discussed for his next title defense, challenging him to prove he's a real man by showing up to the gym Friday at 9 AM.
