ONE Championship releases Gary Tonon, Magomed Akaev and three fighters

ONE Championship has released multiple fighters from their roster, including notable MMA competitor Gary Tonon. The MMA releases include Tonon (9-2) and Magomed Akaev (10-2), while three Muay Thai fighters were also cut: Stefan Korodi (2-3-0), Amber Kitchen (0-2-0), and Zafer Sayik (0-3-0). Tonon's release is particularly surprising as he competed exclusively in ONE throughout his promotional MMA career, fought for a championship, and is considered one of the most accomplished grapplers on the planet. The release of the Muay Thai fighters appears more straightforward given their losing records and limited promotional visibility. Akaev also departs despite holding a winning record. The cuts represent ONE's ongoing roster management decisions.
