The matchup pits the popular English fighter against the experienced French-Brazilian contender. According to reporter Ariel Helwani, the UFC is also planning to book Max Holloway vs Conor McGregor for the same card, and Islam Makhachev vs Ian Garry for UFC 330. Additionally, Anatoly Malykhin stated he will not move to the UFC despite offers, citing loyalty to ONE Championship and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
