Quillan Salkilld still bothered by debut loss to Pablo Torreallba who retired

Quillan Salkilld remains frustrated that the only fighter who has ever beaten him retired immediately after their bout. On February 13, 2021, Salkilld made his MMA debut against Pablo Torreallba, who submitted him with a rear-naked choke in the second round. Torreallba has not fought since and that was his only professional MMA bout. According to some reports, Torreallba now works as a coach at a gym. Salkilld described a "curse" on his career, saying he has lost the first fight in both his professional and amateur careers across MMA and kickboxing.
