Quillan Salkilld still upset opponent retired after handing him sole career loss

Quillan Salkilld remains frustrated that Pablo Torreallba, who handed him his only career defeat, stopped fighting immediately after their bout. Salkilld lost his MMA debut on February 13, 2021, to Torreallba via rear-naked choke in the second round. That fight was Torreallba's only professional MMA bout, and he has since become a coach at a gym. Salkilld mentioned he has a curse of never being able to remain undefeated, as he lost his first fight in his professional MMA career, amateur career, and kickboxing career. He said the best way to deal with the loss was to completely erase it from memory, and he has not contacted Torreallba since.
