Topuria and Makhachev dispute over cancelled White House fight

Ilia Topuria claimed he was informed he would fight Islam Makhachev at the White House event, but hours before the announcement, he was told Makhachev was injured and he would face Gaethje instead. Topuria questioned why Makhachev doesn't want to fight him. Makhachev responded that he agreed to the White House fight, but was told the next day that Topuria requested a huge fee and was denied. Makhachev accused Topuria and his team of lying, stating that Topuria was the one who turned down the bout. In a social media exchange, a fan noted it was 4 AM, and Makhachev replied that it wasn't Ali Abdelaziz posting.
