Romero shot for a double-leg takedown, brought Nicholson to the ground, and delivered a devastating strike to the jaw that caused the fracture. Nicholson, who is 35 years old with a record of approximately 22-17 in MMA, tapped out due to the injury. The bout lasted just 70 seconds before the finish.
