The UFC awarded performance bonuses of $100,000 each to Carlos Prates and Quillan Salkilld for the best performances of the evening at UFC Perth. Shamil Gaziev vs. Brendo Perichic was awarded Fight of the Night honors. All fighters who won by stoppage and did not receive a main bonus, and who also did not miss weight, received $25,000 each. The bonuses recognize the standout performances on a card that delivered multiple finishes.
The UFC handed out performance bonuses following UFC Perth on May 2, 2026, rewarding three fighters with $100,000 checks and recognizing one bout as the evening's best fight.

Carlos Prates, known as "The Nightmare," claimed one of the two Performance of the Night bonuses. The 32-year-old Brazilian southpaw-switch striker out of Vale Top Team holds a record of 24-7 and sits at number five in the welterweight division. Standing six-foot-one with a 78-inch reach, Prates lands 3.77 significant strikes per minute at a 55 percent accuracy rate, making him one of the division's most dangerous finishers.
Quillan Salkilld earned the second $100,000 bonus, delivering a statement performance in front of what was effectively a home crowd. The 26-year-old Australian, ranked 15th at lightweight, carries a 12-1 record and trains out of Luistro Combat Academy. Salkilld is a well-rounded threat, landing 5.16 significant strikes per minute at a 57 percent clip while also averaging an imposing 7.95 takedowns per 15 minutes.

Shamil Gaziev and Brendo Perichic were awarded Fight of the Night honors for a heavyweight clash that clearly left an impression on the judges and officials. Gaziev, a 36-year-old representing Bahrain under the KHK MMA banner, stands six-foot-four with a 78-inch reach and holds a record of 14-3. He sits 11th in the heavyweight rankings.

Why it matters
- Salkilld's bonus performance could push the young Australian into higher-profile lightweight matchups.
- Prates' recognition reinforces his standing as a top-five welterweight finisher heading into a busy divisional period.
- Gaziev's Fight of the Night nod keeps the heavyweight contender relevant despite sitting outside the top ten conversation.
- All stoppage winners outside the main bonus pool also received $25,000, reflecting a finish-heavy card across the board.
