He carries a 12-1 record and has quickly made an impression inside the Octagon with a striking accuracy of 57 percent and a remarkable takedown rate of 7.95 per 15 minutes, giving him a genuinely dangerous mixed skill set at six feet tall with a 75-inch reach.

Gaziev, a 36-year-old heavyweight from Bahrain competing under the KHK MMA banner, holds a 14-3 record and sits ranked 11th in the division. The six-foot-four orthodox fighter has a 78-inch reach and brings a physical presence that contributed to a memorable exchange with Pericich.
