The UFC Perth event awarded $100,000 performance bonuses to Carlos Prates and Quillan Salkilld for best performance of the night. Shamil Gaziev and Brando Perich received the Fight of the Night bonus for their bout. Additionally, all fighters who won by finish and did not receive a main bonus, and who did not miss weight, received $25,000 each. The bonus structure rewarded exciting finishes and competitive matchups from the Australian card.
The UFC's Perth card handed out its post-fight bonuses on May 2, 2026, with Carlos Prates and Quillan Salkilld each pocketing $100,000 Performance of the Night awards, while Shamil Gaziev and Brando Perich split Fight of the Night honors for their memorable bout.

Prates, nicknamed "The Nightmare," is a 32-year-old Brazilian welterweight ranked fifth in his division. Fighting out of Vale Top Team, the switch-stance striker carries a 24-7 record and lands 3.77 significant strikes per minute at 55 percent accuracy, making him one of the more consistent finishers in the 170-pound weight class.
Salkilld earned his bonus in front of what was largely a home crowd. The 26-year-old Australian lightweight, ranked 15th at 155 pounds, trains out of Luistro Combat Academy and holds a 12-1 record. He is particularly dangerous in the grappling department, averaging an impressive 7.95 takedowns per 15 minutes while landing significant strikes at a 57 percent clip.

Gaziev, a 36-year-old heavyweight from Bahrain competing for KHK MMA, shared the Fight of the Night award alongside Perich. Standing six-foot-four with a 78-inch reach, the 14-3 fighter brings legitimate knockout power to the division, where he currently sits ranked 11th.

Why it matters
- Salkilld's bonus performance strengthens his case for a higher lightweight ranking after moving to 12-1
- Prates cements his status as a top-five welterweight finisher capable of earning post-fight hardware
- Gaziev's Fight of the Night recognition keeps his name relevant in a crowded heavyweight division
- The additional $25,000 finish bonuses rewarded depth throughout the card, reflecting a high-energy Australian event
