The UFC announced $100,000 bonus awards for UFC Perth. Carlos Prates and Quillan Salkilld each received Performance of the Night bonuses. Shamil Gaziev vs. Brando Perichich was awarded Fight of the Night. Additionally, all fighters who won by finish without receiving a main bonus and did not miss weight were awarded $25,000 each. These bonuses recognize standout performances from the event held in Perth, Australia.
The UFC handed out its post-event bonus checks following UFC Perth, with Carlos Prates and Quillan Salkilld each pocketing $100,000 Performance of the Night awards, while Shamil Gaziev and Brando Perichich shared Fight of the Night honors for their heavyweight clash. The promotion also distributed $25,000 bonuses to every fighter who secured a finish, did not receive a main bonus, and made weight.

Carlos Prates, nicknamed "The Nightmare," added the Performance bonus to what is becoming a strong run at welterweight. The 32-year-old Brazilian out of Vale Top Team carries a 24-7 record and sits fifth in the divisional rankings. Fighting out of a switch stance, Prates lands 3.77 significant strikes per minute at 55 percent accuracy, making him a consistent threat on the feet.
Quillan Salkilld gave the home crowd in Perth plenty to cheer about. The 26-year-old Australian trains at Luistro Combat Academy and holds a 12-1 record, currently ranked 15th in the lightweight division. Standing six feet tall with a 75-inch reach, Salkilld is an exceptionally active grappler, averaging 7.95 takedowns per 15 minutes, and complements that with a striking accuracy of 57 percent and 5.16 significant strikes landed per minute.

Shamil Gaziev helped produce the night's most entertaining contest. The 36-year-old heavyweight from Bahrain, fighting out of KHK MMA, holds a 14-3 record and is ranked 11th in his division. At six-foot-four with a 78-inch reach, the orthodox striker lands 2.62 significant strikes per minute and brings physicality that makes his bouts hard to ignore.
