Magomed Magomedov, the 33-year-old Russian nicknamed "Tiger," earned a split decision over Leandro Higo, with two judges scoring it 30-27 in his favor against a lone 28-29 dissent. Magomedov improves to 21-5 and brings a compact, precise striking game, connecting on 63.4 percent of his significant strikes. Higo, the 36-year-old Brazilian known as "Alter," entered the bout at 23-7 and remains a durable veteran despite the setback, absorbing pressure with a high striking accuracy of nearly 60 percent of his own output.
