Tom Aspinall has announced that his eye injury is healing and he will soon receive clearance to return to full contact training. According to Aspinall, the UFC has notified him that his next fight will be against the winner of the upcoming bout between Pereira and Gan. He stated that those two fighters need to complete their match first, recover from the fight, and then once everyone is ready, their bout will take place. Aspinall is currently waiting for medical clearance while his opponents settle their matchup.
